Exceedingly rare cardboard edition. This powder box model was created by René Lalique in 1919 and was produced in glass to be sold by his company , René Lalique et Cie, with the name "Une Figurine et Bouquet," it was also sold to Sauzé Fréres Perfumes to be reproduced on their cardboard and paper powder boxes, this example marked "perfumed with Matin Fleuri " a Sauzé Fréres perfume introduced in 1920. Circular shape powder box, the top of its lid covered with a highly embossed paper, depicting a dancing female nude holding rose bush branches, its surround decorated with matching rose bush branches and vertical lines, all motifs are cream color on an orange background.
