Additional Information: 
This is a stand alone powder box, not a part of a specific fragrance line (a concept that Coty expanded on). The base was cardboard covered with dark blue satin. Replacements could be purchased and these were covered with purple satin. Lalique used the mermaid motif in many works. The title translates "Two Mermaids," but is also known as Chevalier.
