The bottle is clear glass with vertical molded panels of flowers and leaves having a black patina and a matching flowered stopper. The same design appears on the reverse. Viard made a number of bottles for Ayer and other perfumers, each in a unique shape, but with molded flowers and/or leaves and a similar black patina.
