Repousse art deco fairies or nymphs are encircled by a sunray border on the top lid of the vanity case. Vanity cases have a mirror, puff, powder, and rouge (aka double compacts). The reverse has a hammered design and is signed. The hinged inside has double framed mirrors and an interior powder compartment with sifter and a separate rouge compartment.
