Additional Information: 
Four compacts from the Chicago World's Fair in 1933-34. Despite this being the height of the depression, this is only a sampling of the many such compacts that were available as souvenirs. Clockwise from the upper left (all enamel on silvertone): octagonal shape with black enamel showing Chicago skyline; octagonal with dark blue enamel showing the fair symbol; medium blue rectangle with fair symbol; and brown rectangle with fair symbol. All except the dark blue retain original powder and rouge puffs. All except the medium blue are enameled on the reverse.
