Additional Information: 
The top lid of the box has a Persian design in cobalt blue and gold. The Blue Danube legend is on the back interior lid. The interior has a sifter for loose powder and a puff. The mirror is found on the outside of the bottom lid and is framed by the same Persian motif. These boxes with loose powder were the precursors to compacts.
