Ruba Rombic was created by Reuben Haley in 1928. It is an oddly-shaped, multi-angular, asymmetrical line unlike anything previously made; it has been likened to a crumpled paper bag. It was produced in Smoky Topaz, Jungle Green, Jade, Lilac, Sunshine and Silver. The line includes a cologne bottle and a smaller perfume bottle. See "Phoenix & Consolidated Art Glass", Jack D. Wilson, Antique Publications, Marietta, Ohio, 1989. For more on "American Scent Bottles," view the presentation on this website under the Resources tab.
