Instead of the traditional Valentines theme, this February we’re looking at a related theme: Courting Couples! Those romantic images of couples walking, talking, dancing, and even sharing passionate embraces. Since perfumes, powders, lipsticks and other vanity items are often used to attract someone, it’s no wonder that images of courting couples are used in advertising these products! And undoubtedly the images on Victorian and Czech items sat on a woman’s vanity table feeding her daydreams …
