IPBA Our Virtual Museum is Amazingly International!

As befits an organization calling itself the International Perfume Bottle Association, our Virtual Museum of over 9,500 items is amazingly international – with representation from 36 countries!

One would expect that any collection of this size would of course have representation from Czechoslovakia, England, France, Germany and the United States. Other countries that are slightly less common, but still well represented include Austria, Egypt, Italy, Netherlands/Holland, Portugal, Russia, and Spain (five of which are represented in the heading image above).

Even less common are the 24 countries represented by the following entries from our Virtual Museum:

Belgium:

Belgian Silver Overlay (c. 1850’s)

Brazil:

Rio Souvenir Compact (c. 1920’s)

Cuba:

“Mariposa” by Drialis (c. 1925)

Denmark:

“Flora Danica” by Swank (c 1980’s – 1990’s)

Japan:
